Lavrentios Lavrentiadis's criminal court case concerning attempted murder of hotelier Athenagoras Andreadakis

Lavrentios "Lavrentis" Lavrentiadis, a Greek entrepreneur, was implicated in a legal case concerning the attempted murder of hotelier Athenagoras Andreadakis. In 2012, he was accused of orchestrating an hand grenade "flower pot bombing" attack on Andreadakis, who had reportedly been assaulted due to business disputes. Lavrentiadis faced charges of complicity in the attempted murder.
In December 2016, an Athens court acquitted Lavrentiadis and six co-defendants of all charges related to this case. The court found insufficient evidence to prove their involvement in the alleged crime.
This acquittal marked the conclusion of the legal proceedings against Lavrentiadis concerning the attempted murder allegations.
